Tekken fighters will compete with the Street Fighters in the latest game collaboration of Capcom and Namco . This cooperation produces the game known as Street Fighter X Tekken. The game was announced at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con by Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono.
The demo shown at the San Diego Comic-Con showed characters Ryu and Kazuya Mishima fighting each other, being tagged by Street Fighter’s Chun-Li and Tekken’s Nina Williams. Currently, Street Fighter X Tekken trailer on display at Comic-Con has been widely circulated on YouTube. The game is set to release for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
In addition to making ‘Street Fighter X Tekken’, Yoshinori also introduced a series of online game called ‘Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike’. Unfortunately, both new games still do not have an official release schedule yet. Rumors said that the game is going to come after the release of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 of this 2010 mid-year.
